Today's verse is John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. In light of recent events—like the tragic shooting at Walmart and the loss of a DHS employee—we're reminded of the chaos that can erupt in our world. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed or anxious when we hear such news. Yet, Jesus offers us a promise of peace amidst the turmoil. His words remind us that while tribulation is part of life, we don’t have to face it alone. We can find solace in Him, who has overcome the world. As you go through your day, take a moment to breathe deeply and invite His peace into your heart. Choose to focus on small acts of kindness, spreading light in a world that often feels heavy. Even in uncertainty, remember that you are not alone—there’s hope and strength in Him.
